FACEBOOK

Ok, since I already posted on my class website about Facebook, I want to post on blogger just because I feel as if I have more to say. Facebook frustrates me more than anything in this world, it's definitely my naughty indulgence (or however you say it). Facebook wasn't so bad at first, it gave me a way to keep in touch with people I haven't seen in a long time. Then it started going downhill....

Facebook then turned into a way for people I don't care for really to add me as a "friend" eventhough they didn't talk to me in high school. I just wonder why they add me, like why does my life on Facebook matter but not in real life. Don't get me wrong, I'm not always this bitter but I'm just curious why this happens. But see I'm no help at all because I "accept" their friend request as if to say "I want you to care about my Facebook life." It's all very confusing.

From a marketing perspective, I wonder how Facebook got SO HUGE, like I remember as a freshman signing up but I don't remember what made me or my peers so drawn to something like that. Is it because you can see everything someone is doing? Is it because you can look at ridiculous pictures of people? What is it? I think I want to take a poll and decide for myself what is so appealing about the site. Honestly, I can't even tell you why I have it and why I continue to update it because if someone really cared about my life, they can ask me.
